Christian Activist erupts in tears after meeting an 11 year Old Struggling Christian Boy.
2nd August 2019’s evening Nazir Bhatti a Christian activist from Punjab, Pakistan planned to
enjoy some chit chat with friends over a dinner table at nearby restaurant. Nazir plans changed from pleasant to distress
when a decent looking 11 year old boy came to attend table to receive their order
for dinner. Relating to human and minority rights back ground Nazir asked the
young boy regarding his purpose at restaurant because it was 09:30 pm and as father of three daughters Nazir was a bit concerned about boy’s well being due
to increase in incidents of child abuse that exists in our society.
The reply of the little boy was quite painful for Nazir as
the boy shared his unfortunate circumstances that his father died and his
mother is suffering from disease of kidney failure. During few Q&A we found out that Joshua is
the name our 11 year old Christian child, Upon further discussion the boy told
that they are two brothers and a sister. Along with late hours working Joshua
is enrolled in a school as well and he is in 6th standard. His young
eyes dream to become a doctor one day may be that is due to reason of his
mother’s present health condition, Or maybe he believes
that doctors earn good and he can support his brother and sister. But overall it is a difficult situation and the
chances for Joshua to succeed are very low due to presence of harsh treatment that child labor face during their hardships are very much a
reality and only few children are lucky enough to make it to the point of success
without any harm.
Nazir lost his cool that night when he raised questions to
all Church ministries in Pakistan regarding their offering & tithe
management. Similar to Nazir the Christian community constitutionally recognized as minority in Pakistan are losing hope & patience as well due to facts of religious discrimination &
oppression they face at grassroots level from Majority’s side and involvement of
Church leadership individuals of various Congregation and Parish serving their own interest in fraudulent schemes
and monetary mismanagement including but not limited to selling Church property,
Lavishing lifestyle of families turned from scratch to billionaires and deliberate ignorance of unfortunate & needy
Christian families especially widows & orphans is adding salt to wounds.
Nazir realized this reality and rather
emotionally called upon Church leadership and Ministries through a video
message in which he has questioned the priorities of Pakistani Church & Political leadership
, their collection and spending of congregation offering, tithe, global
fundraising from developed countries and Churches from abroad. Nazir concluded his call for a check upon through independent annual audits. For

families especially Widows and Orphans.
Dear friends, I am very moved by this report. I would like to help, as I am sure that others will also. Let us all pray for wisdom, and that our hearts will be warmed by the love of our Saviour Jesus Christ, and stirred into action. I confess that my heart is sometimes cold and selfish. I am bound up with my own pain and problems too much, and spend far too much money on my own things.
ReplyDeleteThere will be many thousands of others who are in similar need to young Joshua. Let's pray for first for Joshua's dear mother, whom he is obviously trying to help, in his work. May she know God's provision, and His great peace. Lord: PLEASE provide healing for Joshua's mother, in her great need. Only YOUR grace is sufficient for her, Lord, but it IS fully sufficient! Your riches of Grace shall never cease! Please send her a good doctor who will be able to help and assist her recovery for as much as normal life with her son as she need. Joshua is a brave boy and needs your great and generous hand to move in his life, even more that ever.
