Sikh Priest daughter abducted, forcibly converted in Nankana Sahib, Punjab Pakistan. Family demands justice and help from Prime Minister.

In another case of forced conversions of minorities in Pakistan, a Sikh girl named Jagjit Kaur has allegedly been abducted and forcefully converted on gunpoint in Pakistan’s Nankana Sahib city. The family of the victim has alleged that the girl was forced to marry a Muslim boy after bring forcefully converted to Islam. The 19-year-old girl is daughter of Bhagwan Singh, a priest of Gurudwara Tambu Sahib.

Reportedly, the family added that six people abducted their daughter Jagjit Kaur at gunpoint on the night between August 27 and August 28. The girl’s family has also appealed assistance from Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan to protect the family and has demanded that the girl be sent back. They said even though an FIR had been filed, nothing was done to bring back the abducted girl. The girl’s brother has alleged that the goons have threatened them to withdraw the complaint otherwise they’d be killed.

Overall the Sikh community on both side of the border is very depressed and annoyed regarding this incident and demanding the safe return of Jagjit Kaur to the oppressed family and culprits to be behind bars. Sikh Council of Pakistan has also issue an protest call if the girl is not returned & Sikh community from all over the World has responded and proving solidarity with oppressed family through official communication with Gov. Pakistan and on social media as well.

On the other hand a video of the girl being converted and getting married is also circulating on the internet. Hot debates and comments are being exchanged and the fear in the eyes of the girl while being converted and getting married is the main point of debate.

Adeel Yousaf belonging to oppressed Christian community became a victim of Majority’s dominance and practice of how dare you; philosophy in Pakistan.

Adeel Yousaf In his official police complaint stated that he is the resident of Christian Colony Haroonabad and an employee at Girls College. Muhammad Abid and Muhammad Arshad were my friends. For few reasons I distant myself from them and stopped seeing them and for that they had grudge against me.  

On 14^th august 2019, round about 2:45 pm Muhammad Abid called me and told me to come at bridge 73/4R but I refused. I was at church square and at that moment Muhammad Abid and Muhammad Arshad came there on motorbike and they both launched an assault on me. And to further humiliate me publicly they tore down my cloths and while they were beating me Arshad told Abid to shot me. Arshad seized me and Abid pulled out a 30 bore gun and said, “How Dare You not obey our order, now you will face the consequences.”

Abid shot me which hit me in the leg,. I was screaming due to pain & bleeding and I could’ve died there but thanks to Yasir Javed, Kallis Javed and few other local residents who after hearing gunshot came to my aid. At that moment Abid and Arshad left the scene. I was brought to the hospital. 

Although a Police case is registered against Abid & Arshad but they roam freely due to their political ties and influential background. Shahid Yousaf the brother of Adeel Yousaf told that an FIR 19/349 under PPC 34/324 is registered at police station Haroonabad but accused are not arrested till now.

Although in various headlines on print and electronic media Government claims to protect and safeguard the basic belief of Christian community wish to be treated as humans but unfortunately we don’t see any practical measures of Government to invest in bringing change to Majority population’s philosophy regarding Christians & to eliminate deeply rooted #Christophobia in Pakistan.

Two Christian brothers killed due to Majority’s Dominance & practice of How Dare You! Philosophy in Pakistan.

Christians in Pakistan shocked over the Dominance mindset & practice of How Dare You! Philosophy resulting in brutal murder of Two Christian brother just because the Christian family complained and stopped a neighbor’s child from scratching the paint of their pickup van. 

That afternoon the argument started when Christian family tried to stop their neighbor Abdul Majeed’s children from scratching their pickup. Outraged over Christians telling their child what not to do the son of Abdul Majeed stormed into the house of Javed Masih and started abusing and breaking things. At that time Salman was present in the house who pushed him out of his house and there was exchange of harsh words as well between both men.  

The father of Javed Masih arrived home and went to see Abdul Majeed and complained him about his son’s bragging into their house and abusive behavior. Abdul Majeed at that moment agreed to end this quarrel but later on along with his sons Amjad & Naveed decided to teach a lesson to Salman due to afternoon’s brawl.  So three of them armed themselves with knives and planned an ambush. 

Unfortunate Javed Masih stepped out of house to bring few things from market and at that moment Abdul Majeed, Amjad & Naveed seized and stabbed him to death using knives. Upon hearing his elder brother calling for help and cries Salman rushed out to see what has happened and at the same moment they stabbed him as well. Javed Masih age 45 father of four children died at the spot while Salman Masih age 19 who was recently married died at the hospital later that night. As Amjad & Naveed were stabbing Javed and Salman using knives the father Abdul Majeed was cheering his sons stating,” kill them, how dare they!” 

A case was registered against Abdul Majeed and his sons on Thursday. All three have been arrested. The Father of murdered boys demand Justice from PM. Imran Khan who on many occasions have highlighted that urge to make Pakistan an equal society for Christians and other religious minorities. Although I respect the sentiments of PM. Imran Khan but the main concern is how he’s going to change the mindset which resulted into this brutal act over a minor argument. A philosophy that believes Christians cannot be considered equal to majority population in Pakistan. A philosophy that believes Christians in Pakistan is an alien community planted by British & European Church. A philosophy that believes themselves superior as majority and consider it social obligation of Christians to stay low and bear along without complaining. 

In case if Christians complain or try to protect their basic human rights the brutal side, How Dare You! Philosophy comes into action. This behavior against Christians is a reality in Pakistan, all those false accusations & charges, murders, rape, villages & towns turned to ashes, imprisonment, and denial of rights are due to deep rooted Majority’s Dominance & How Dare You, Philosophy. Almost in all cases and incidents against Christian community you will clearly see this mindset in action. Can PM. Imran Khan change this Philosophy?
 

Christian & Hindu Sanitary Workers Jobless due to Systematic Discrimination in Pakistan:

Victoria Hospital Bahawalpur’s Medical Superintendent (MS) Aziz Ur Rehman has dismissed 183 Sanitary Workers specifically belonging to Christian & Hindu communities. 

Bahawalpur the home of various ancient societies holds a unique status in history books of subcontinent. Few days back a video of protestors emerged on social media demanding justice and restoration of their lost jobs as sanitary workers at Victoria Hospital Bahawalpur. 

One of the protestors during an interview revealed that Medical Superintendent Aziz Ur Rehman and Deputy Medical Superintendent (DMS) Aslam has targeted and dismissed sanitary workers specifically belonging to Christian and Hindu communities known as minorities and treated as 3^rd class citizen in Pakistan. A total of 183 sanitary workers including women are jobless now due to this systematic discrimination as the 35 employees of the same rank belonging to Muslim community jobs are secured and they are performing their duties in the hospital. 

According  to protesters the main point of concern is that the Labor court’s verdict is in favor of these 183 employees to be restored on their jobs but MS. Aziz DMS. Aslam are not obeying court orders as well. DMS. Aslam stance is even more harsh regarding this situation as he told the protestors that;” even if they set themselves on fire we won’t restore their jobs”.

This situation is a reality that reveals another example of systematic discrimination that exists against Christian and other religious minorities in Pakistan.

Annalisa, a Christian sales girl assaulted and dragged by hair in Shopping Mall & oppressor the alleged sister of Minister Punjab walks away on bail due to minor criminal charges!

On 13^th August 2019, Sadaf walked into the Packages Mall Lahore knowing that she belongs to the elite group of Pakistan’s majority population and holds the political, influential and special social privilege.  

On the same day Annalisa a Christian girl went to work as a sales girl on a cosmetic shop with special plans after work to celebrate and attend 14^th August i.e. Pakistan independence day prayer meetings in her local church that evening, she also bought few Pakistani flags as well. 

Annalisa had no idea what was going to happen to her that day as Sadaf walked into the cosmetic shop. Sadaf came to counter of Annalisa and started checking various beauty items including various lipstick shades. During the tryout Sadaf demanded Annalisa to bring her a mirror and hold it for her.  At that same moment few other customers were busy with the mirror and Annalisa told Sadaf to wait for while which outraged Sadaf and she started abusing Annalisa who was trying her best to calm down Sadaf by telling her to wait for a while.  Outraged Sadaf started asking for the name of Annalisa to complain the store manager. 

Annalisa is a English Origin Christian Name used for Girls & many Christian families in Pakistan name their daughters Annalisa which reflects their Christian identity, the moment Annalisa told her name to Sadaf the situation immediately changed from abusive words to physical assault in the form of slaps and kicks as Sadaf repeatedly kept shouting Apologize, Say Sorry, how dare you refuse me and more which reflected the inner hatred & Christophobia of Sadaf against the Christian faith. 

The physical assault did not end in the shop. For further humiliation Sadaf dragged Annalisa by hair to the public place and kept on shouting Say Sorry, Apologize to me. Annalisa kept on saying I am Sorry Mam and Sadaf kept on dragging her by hair saying I can’t hear you! This went on for a while as the shopping mall security staff and customers gathered around them requesting Sadaf to let go of Annalisa. 

Sadaf kept on threatening security and other staff who were trying to save Annalisa, during all this one of the security staff called the police official complaint number 15 and the moment Sadaf realized that a police complaint is launched against her she grabbed a paper cutter and injured one of the security staff as well. Sadaf walked away from Mall without being arrested due to some political or influential involvement that day. 

This unfortunate incident might have gone unnoticed quietly but fortunately someone from the crowd gather around Sadaf & Annalisa recorded this scene and posted the video on social media which immediately went viral and people started asking questions to Punjab Government. When Punjab government assessed that people are questioning their law and order situation the official spokesperson of Punjab government Shahbaz Gill started the search for Sadaf on Soial Media asking people to tell Punjab Government who she is and help to find her along with point scoring comments against opposition. It’s hilarious that this happened in the very same city of Lahore from where the whole Punjab province is governed and there was an official complaint registered on police official 15 complaint number as well; it’s strange that Punjab Government spokes person did not try to check with police officials about this incident and started a search operation for Sadaf on social media.

Later that evening a picture of Sadaf surfaced on social media that she is under arrest and an official police case is registered against her.  The charges against Sadaf are of minor Harassment but you can see in the video the use of criminal force & deliberate publicly humiliation but Sadaf is not charged according to any of serious offence by Police. Very next day on 14^th of August celebrated as the independence day of Pakistan. Sadaf appeared in Court, walks away from court on bail and celebrated 14^th of August with full energy which safe guards her rights and special privileges as a majority & dominating citizen. 

If we see the video clip shared above we can observe that there is use of criminal force, physical torture and intentions to humiliate and deliberate public exposure of Annalisa by Sadaf.  Even the lawyers are surprised over exclusion of serious charges against Sadaf.  

14^th August is the day Annalisa returned home from Courts disappointed and with tears in eyes. It’s not the first time and it won’t be the last time Christians are going to be treated like this in Pakistan. That’s how the situation is for Christians as Minorities as There’s another Perception Among General Public That Sadaf is Alleged Sister of sitting Health Minister Punjab & She has & will use Her influence to help Sadaf go Unpunished!

If that’s True, Oppressed WE won't be surprised over This Systematic Discrimination That Exists against Christians in Pakistan.
