Punjab, Pakistan. Christian Boy, age 14 abducted and sexually abused by 5 Men.

Culprits claim to be untouchable as Punjab Police refused to register FIR or Arrest them.  14 Year Old Christian Boy abducted & sexually abused eagerly waits for his application to be processed & justice.

Sheikhupura, Punjab Pakistan. Makki Police Station refused to register FIR & refused to arrest the five culprits who abducted Gulfam Masih, a 14 year old Christian boy and sexually abused him reported on 29th May 2020.

Gulfam Masih as other normal boys of his age went out to market and was jumped by Muhammad Ali, Abdul Rehman and three more men who injured Gulfam Masih’s jaw by hitting him, dazzled by the hit Gulfam Masih was dragged to the nearby bushes where all five of them sexually molested the boy and left him there unconscious.

Upon finding Gulfam Masih and knowing the brutality Gulfam’s elder brother went to local Police station at Makki, Sheikhupura where he was pushed out, suffered abusive language by police officials who refused to receive the application against the culprits stating they are the untouchables of the local area and Police is not allowed to perform any proceedings on this case.

As this issue went viral on social media among various human rights platform the Punjab Government stepped in and the application of Gulfam Masih was received by police station but still culprits roam freely and are proving the fact that they belong to the untouchables class in Pakistan.

The Grassroots reality is that all the majority population in Pakistan is untouchables especially when they do any harm or oppression against Christians in Pakistan.

All system starts to create gateways through deliberate systematic delays and creating flaws just to protect the culprits as they belong to same religious group VS the Christian complainant.

Let's Pray for Forgiveness of Pakistan, Amen 🙏

Christophobia Flourishing in Pakistan under Government's sponsored propaganda.

Pakistan, Christophobia flourishing under Government’s sponsored foreign propaganda telecast on National Television in Pakistan.

For last 70 years Christians in Pakistan are already facing enslaved situation due to absence of basic human rights, social exclusion from all segments of society, discrimination in national level polices, Children & minor age girls abduction & rape situations, Christian owned properties being snatched, false accusations & imprisonments, exclusion from progressive programs & almost all crimes against Christian community go unpunished is a normal routine in Pakistan.

Now furthermore without any impact assessment the Government of Pakistan is injecting more religious based hatred against Christians with enhanced level of Christophobia in already overdosed Pakistani society through telecasting a foreign propaganda drama dubbed in urdu language is being telecast on National Television & it has started to show its results. Watch the video,

Tiktok Video by Pakistani Youth

This tiktok videos and dozens more are circulating on social media where Pakistani youth is displaying their hatred against Christian faith. In this video three men with Christian Cross are displayed as begging for mercy and the person sitting on the couch kicks one of them.

This is the result of previous 70 years Gov. Policies and new propaganda's telecast on national TV & there is a clear rise in number of attacks on Churches, Assaults against Christians, Christians property grab incidents, Abduction & rape incidents & most alarming situation comes in the form of no accountability & arrest of culprits by most of the law enforcement authorities.

If that's what Government wants to achieve i must say we the Christians in Pakistan won't beg for mercy, will do our best to protect our children, belongings & continue our efforts to make Pakistan a place which we can be proud of. Hopefully Government authorities in Pakistan will revisit their priorities regarding future of Christians in Pakistan.

Furthermore i request our Government authorities to kindly educate Pakistani youth, not to try this against Christians living in Europe, America, UK, Australia and many more known as developed Christian countries because they have a vast experience of tackling this sort of invasions & mindset.

Lets Hope for the Best & wait n watch....

Land Mafia attempts to grab Church Property, Punjab Government Responded!

Land Mafia attempts to grab Church Property, Police ensured protection of Christian community, Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar stands tall, Minister Human Rights/Minorities Affairs Ejaz Alam Augustine refuses to bow down against influential political pressure & proceeds with registration of FIR against culprits.

Punjab Pakistan, Ittehad Chemicals, Hakeempura, Tehsil Ferozwala, District Sheikhupura. On 9th May 2020, the local Church was closed due to necessary measures of maintaining social distancing during pandemic Covid-19. Unfortunately the Local Land Mafia headed by Aoun Abbas had other ideas in mind to forcibly grab the Church property. Along with a group of culprits they attacked the Church boundary wall, destroyed the main gate and disrespected the Holy Cross.

During this act of destroying the Church property women and children of Christian community starting shouting with loud cries and people started to gather. Aoun Abbas and gang started threatening Christian community to stay away or they’ll kill anyone who tries to interfere in their act of vandalizing the Church construction. Church Pastor immediately contacted Police helpline 15 and within few moments the local police station sent two vehicles of their emergency respond unit.

Upon arrival of Police vehicles Aoun Abbas along with his gang of culprits disappeared from the scene. Local influential politicians especially the Member National Assembly who are on vacations due to covid-19 measures started interfering in police matters and tried their level best to create hurdles in law & justice implementation by not letting the Police register an FIR (Official First Information Report).

Local Pastor of the Church effectively used social media platforms and recorded a video of the incident scene and this video started circulating among Christian activist groups. Someone noticed this incident & immediately sent this video to Ejaz Alam Augustine (Minister Human Rights/Minorities Affairs Punjab).

Ejaz Alam Augustine refused to bow down against the political pressure from National Assembly groups & at once directed his District representative Sharoon Rokas to report at crime scene and fulfills all the necessary measures. With the direct interference of Minister Human Rights & Minorities Affairs Punjab an official FIR was registered against Aoun Abbas and group of culprits and Police are now effectively handling this matter.

By this above mentioned situation it is observed that Influential Political representatives do interfere in the role and responsibilities of Provincial and District level matters & previously as PM. Imran Khan stated that he will ensure implementation of Justice at grassroots level and He must keep a strict check and balance on the National assembly individuals’ irrelevant interference.

Overall this response from Punjab Government, Punjab Police & especially Ejaz Alam Augustine has encouraged Christians in Punjab Province a lot and this can strengthen this belief even more if the National Level Politicians (Even if they belong to Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaaf) stop their interference in Provincial, District and especially in the role & responsibilities of Human Rights & Minorities Affairs concerning Christians in province of Punjab.

Please Watch the Complete Video of the Church vandalized scene, Pastor Statement & Ejaz Alam Response.  (English Subtitles).

New minorities commission to be constituted in six months

Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Azam Swati said that new National Commission for Minorities (NCM) would be constituted within the next six months as the three-year tenure of the present commission had already expired.

Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony was preparing a case for its fresh constitution with revised composition of members. He said during the last five years, NCM issued six no-objection certificates (NOCs) for the sale of minorities properties.

Terms of the NCM include developing a policy on inter-faith harmony, exploring avenues for peace and security, considering such laws, which are reportedly discriminatory towards the minorities.

The commission also recommends steps aimed at ensuring fuller and effective participation by the members of minority communities in all aspects of national life.

Besides, it also ensures minorities’ full and effective participation in association with their religious and cultural festival and celebrations.

It also looks into the grievances and representations made by the members of any minority community to the government and, after examination of such grievances, to make suitable recommendations for their resolution.

It also ensures that the churches, shrines, temples, gurdwaras and other places of worships of the minority communities are preserved and well kept in a functional condition.

National Commission for Minorities actively performed during the tenure of last government.

Six meetings of NCM were held and 61 important decisions were taken including taking notice of the burning alive of a Christian couple in Kasur district.

On the recommendations of NCM, provincial governments and Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) administration constituted district interfaith harmony committees comprising members from all religions and presided by a high level government official, so that these Committees may take immediate action to address any incident at initial level and work as a task force.

On the recommendations of NCM, National Interfaith Harmony Conferences were also arranged in Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar,Quetta, Islamabad and Muzaffarabad.

NCM took notice of the registration of FIRs against some prayer leaders of Mosques in Islamabad on hate speeches and on use of loud speakers and asked for report on security measures taken for minority worship places in Islamabad.

On the recommendations of NCM, implementation of job quota reserved for minorities was taken up with federal ministries, divisions, departments as well as from provincial governments.

Issue raised with CDA to make functional the gurdwara/temple in Saidpur village, Islamabad, however, the same could not be made possible due to security reasons.

Lahore ATC (anti-terrorism court ) acquits 42 Christians in Youhanabad lynching case.

An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Lahore on Wednesday acquitted and ordered the release of 42 Christians  who were accused in cases pertaining to the lynching of two men in Lahore's Youhanabad colony after  suicide bombings targeting two Churches in Lahore during prayers killing dozens of innocent Christians including women & children.

The incident occurred in 2015 when twin suicide bombings outside two churches in Lahore sparked protests in Youhanabad colony. The protests turned violent and two men identified as Babar Noman, a tailor, and Hafiz Naeem, a glass cutter  were taken into police custody as suspects to be facilitators of suicide bombers and both were killed during  a angry mob attack.

In 2016, the ATC had indicted 42 Christians in different cases pertaining to the incident. Two of the accused Christian prisoners died in prison allegedly due to Christophobia based hatred resulting refusal of access to medical treatment of Christian prisoners.

The suspects had filed an application stating that they should be released because they had reached an agreement with the victims' families.

The ATC announced the verdict, acquitting all suspects, including those who passed away, after recording the statements of the victims' families, who told the court that they had arrived at an agreement with the suspects and would have no objections over their acquittal.

On behalf of Christian community in Pakistan we’re grateful to Global & Local Christian community for their generous donations & financial contribution for settlements which was paid through a local Church. Without your financial support this was not possible, also the role of Pakistan’s judiciary must be appreciated who implemented necessary measures following the fast track and acquitted all accused.

This is definitely good news and certainly some relief to the deprived Christian community in Punjab province. On behalf of Christians in Punjab we’re thankful to Govt. of Pakistan & Punjab for realizing this need to uplift deprived communities and addressing the situation of religious minorities especially Christians in Pakistan who are deliberately pushed and steered towards becoming the lowest segment of society.

Similar to this initiative we now expect & demand from Govt. of Pakistan to replicate this education support for religious minorities in other three provinces as well i.e. KPK, Sindh & Balochistan.  Additionally we need practical measures of harmony and suitable working environment for educated Christians serving in Govt. & Private sectors as well.

National & Provincial level Department of Religious Affairs & Harmony must initiate practical measures to eliminate discriminatory hatred against Christians & Hindus who are addressed & believed as untouchables, as well provide suitable social environment to a common citizen belonging to religious minorities during day to day affairs for survival in difficult economic situation.

So far this education support program for religious minorities is more than welcome and much needed. Hopefully other key issues shall be addressed & resolved as well. For this one, Pakistan Zindabaad!

District Bar Association Multan's Resolution against Religious Minorities.

Multan Punjab, Pakistan: In yet another example of subjugation of minorities in Pakistan, Multan Bar Association passed a resolution which forbids non-Muslim lawyers including Christians to participate in the Bar council elections in the city, local media reported.

Source: Roznama Jang, Pakistan

The resolution was presented by the lawyers of District Bar Association of Multan. It stated that the lawyers contesting bar elections will also need to submit an affidavit to prove their faith in Islam, District Bar Association of Multan must be questioned and condemned locally and globally for passing this resolution.
This resolution reflects the fruits of the last 50 years education syllabus & social teachings that is now being practiced in Pakistan. It is a reality that Christians, Hindus, Sikhs & Other religious minorities are portrayed as villains and aliens who does not belong here & deserve no development and progress in Pakistan.

It is also a fact that over the years the deliberate distortion of history has eliminated the social respect & overall contribution of Christians community’s role during the independence movement and their role in development in various segments including education, health & defense for Pakistan e.g. the key role of Dewan Bahadur S.P Singhna & Other Christian politicians who casted decisive votes for Punjab to be included in Pakistan is unknown to a common citizen belonging to majority population.
I personally am witness of the fact that at grassroots level no common citizen belonging to majority population knows about the names or role of Christians during Pakistan’s independence & no one knows the names of Christian martyrs who heroically fought and gave their lives for Pakistan during wars against neighbor country, nobody admits or realizes the Christian contribution in the field of health, education and defense of Pakistan.
This resolution passed by District Bar Association, Multan reflects the religious racism and hatred by well educated group. Imagine how less educated groups treat Christians in Punjab, Pakistan. Christians are considered unclean and are highly discouraged to run any small business such as grocery stores, small food points, vegetable stalls and no one buys from them due to this religious hatred and bias approach and if a Christian tries to establish any selling point it fails miserably.
Due to similar approach as this passed resolution Christians are deliberately steered towards jobs of sewage workers and the Christians who are educated and skilled serving in sectors such as Lawyers, Doctors, Nurses, Teachers etc. face harsh social & systematic discrimination and are deliberately denied progress opportunities that are announced at Government & Private sector.
In 2019, I Personally am a witness of a complete case study of a well educated, skilled Christian Nurse who was systematically victimized by authorities at Nishtar Hospital Multan during the Nursing BSN deputation opportunity announced by Punjab Government in 2019.
She qualified the merit & passed the entry test and was not included in the final list because in 2018 she stood for her right of Christian faith to conduct memorial service of her late mother, Hospital administration proved their religious hatred by comments such as that,” they don’t allow leave for memorial services” and did not allow her 3 day leave for conducting her late mother’s memorial service prayer meetings. She had positive leave balance in her record as per Government policy but she was marked absent and suffered salary deduction.
She was not allowed leave for memorial service in 2018 because back in 2014 she stood for her right to save her daughter during pregnancy as hospital authority denied her the right to avail leave when her doctor advised her rest for few days due to pregnancy complications. She had positive leave balance in her record as per Government policy but she was marked absent and suffered salary deduction.
That’s how educated and skilled working class Christians are treated by Government authorities in Pakistan targeted with Hatred & systematic Discrimination!
Majority population of Punjab & Multan must step up and condemn this act of District Bar Association Multan’s passed resolution which is based upon religious hatred.
Christians have contributed a great deal in education and health sector of Multan & Southern Punjab with existing examples such as Lasalle School Systems, Christian Hospitals, BHUs and especially during natural disasters of 2010 floods the local and global Christians stormed in & helped majority population through relief, rehab initiatives and monetary aid.
Unfortunately the common person belonging to majority population is never told about the local and global Christian contribution and Christian aid that Pakistan receives on daily basis which needs to be shared officially with common public by Federal & Provincial Governments to enhance the mutual respect among religions.
Common Pakistani citizens must be told what Christians have done for them during last 70 years and what Christians are doing for them to stand on their feet for next 70 years.
If possible the Operation Rud-Al-Fasad must step up against the responsible individuals for passing such resolutions especially in Punjab for damaging the one nation vision & theory that Quaid-E-Azam M.A Jinnah gave Pakistan in his speeches.
Let’s wait and see but let’s not raise our expectations & brainstorm the long term solution for the future of Christian children in subcontinent.

Sindh, Pakistan. Hindu medical student found dead under mysterious conditions.

In a suspected hate crime, a Hindu medical student belonging to Ghotki, Sindh was found dead in her hostle room with a rope tied to her neck while her room was locked from inside. Namrita, a final year student of Dental College was found dead in her hostel room. Local police said it was too early to say whether she had committed suicide or murdered.

However, her family has alleged that Chandani was killed because she was a minority. Speaking to media, her brother alleged that she had been murdered.

He said that while his sister was wearing a dupatta, the marks around her neck resembled that of a cable wire.

"There are marks on other parts of her body too like a person was holding her. We are a minority, please stand up for us," he said.

The body was shifted to the district headquarter hospital for postmortem, but the police awaited her parents to arrive from Karachi for their consent.

Nimrata was discovered when her colleagues knocked at her room's door and grew worried when she did not respond for several minutes.

They somehow managed to look inside the room from the crevice in the door.

"She was neither responding to the knocking at the door nor to our shouting," her friend told the police.

The hostel's watchman later broke open the door, only to find the student lying dead.

Larkana DIG Irfan Ali Baloch has given the incident's inquiry to SSP Masood Ahmed Bangash.

The vice-chancellor of the medical college Anila Attaur Rehman said the incident appeared to be one of suicide but the police and the medico-legal report will be able to ascertain the actual cause of death after the postmortem.

In a similar incident, a student of Sindh University, Naila Rind, was found dead from her hostel room on January 1, 2017. Her body was found hanging from the ceiling fan.

Reno Kumari the missing Hindu girl recovered from Sialkot, Punjab Pakistan.

Reno Kumari On 29th August 2019 disappeared from university and was found at Dar-Ul-Aman Sialkot, Punjab Pakistan.

A religiously converted name of Iman Fatima proves her conversion as Reno Kumari was recovered from Sialkot where she was kept safe at Dar-Ul-Aman (Gov.Protection Center for Women) & handed over after the official documentation and her statemet that she wants to go back with her family.

After the recovery and return of Sikh girl Jagjit Kaur to her family, the return of Reno Kumari proved a sigh of relief for Hindu  community of Pakistan as they are highly grateful to all Government law enforcement agencies,  stakeholders and departments for making it possible for safe return of Reno.

The key role of Punjab government must be appreciated in this regard especially after the news went viral on social media the authorities moved swiftly and established all necessary links and measures to make it possible for Reno Kumari to be reunited with her family.

The return of both these girls was possible due to effective lobbying and protest of Sikh and Hindu communities all over the world.

Although the Christians are known to be the biggest number in population on global platform but the similar unity and urge to protect oppressed Christian communities needs more attention as compared to the unity Sikhs and Hindus communities proved on their levels.

Efforts made to Reinstate Christian educational institutions by Christian Minister in Punjab, Pakistan.

A Christian Member Punjab Assembly, Ejaz Alam Augestine is the current active Minister Human Rights/ Minorities Affairs/Interfaith harmony of Punjab province in Pakistan. Striving hard by following issues of human rights violations and issues faced by minorities in Punjab province, on daily basis he’s busy with helping victims in the matters such as registration of police complaints and much more.

On 3rd September 2019 a copy of Chief Minister Punjab office order emerged on scene in response to Ejaz Alam Augestine efforts requesting the CM Punjab to reinstate the Christian educational institutions in Punjab province.

This is a very good step, During 70s, the government of Pakistan nationalized various Christian institutions and now after almost 50 years the newly elected Prime Minister Imran Khan has repeatedly stated that he wants to make Pakistan a country where the Christians and other religious minorities feel and believe themselves as equal citizens.

The positive development in this regard is that the Chief Minister Punjab has issued this office order demanding a detailed summary of the institutions which were nationalized back in 70s for further processing and may be may be if Christians in Pakistan are lucky enough the long forgotten historical institutions with Christian identity might be reinstated to Christians which over the years served and helped the Pakistani nation after independence in 1947.

This is a positive gesture from the side of Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf’s government in Punjab which has certainly given some confidence to Christians living in Punjab Province.

On the other hand the long disputed issue of Edward College, Peshawar still demands the equal attention from the sitting Government of Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf in KPK Province. As there are reports that after Court orders which clearly directed the Gov.KPK to not interfere in private administrative matters of Peshawer Diocese Church’s Edward College but Gov. KPK is still trying to revoke the institutions Christian identity and wants to get control of it at any cost.

The National level Government of Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf must focus on the situation of Edward College Peshawer’s issue as well.

Since 1947 Christians have served Pakistan in all forms whether it was Education, Skill development, Health, Defense and much more.

All Christians living in Pakistan demand the basic human right of respect and treatment as per humanity values and practical efforts of Government towards elimination of deep rooted #Christophobia that exists in Pakistani Society.

Sikh Priest daughter abducted, forcibly converted in Nankana Sahib, Punjab Pakistan. Family demands justice and help from Prime Minister.

In another case of forced conversions of minorities in Pakistan, a Sikh girl named Jagjit Kaur has allegedly been abducted and forcefully converted on gunpoint in Pakistan’s Nankana Sahib city. The family of the victim has alleged that the girl was forced to marry a Muslim boy after bring forcefully converted to Islam. The 19-year-old girl is daughter of Bhagwan Singh, a priest of Gurudwara Tambu Sahib.
