Pakistan Christians & Religious Minorities Situation Review, 1947 To 2018

How Situation Changed for Christians and Other Religious Minorities in Pakistan.

11th august 1947 the founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah while addressing the constituent assembly stated,

" You are free to go to your temples; you are free to go to your mosque or to any other place of worship in this state of Pakistan. You may belong to any religion or cast that has nothing to do with the business of the state."

Further he said,

We are starting in the days where there is no discrimination, No distinction between one community and another, We are starting with this fundamental principal that we are citizens and equal citizens of one state.

This was the basic vision of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah for Pakistan & Christian political leadership of that time trusted and believed in each word said by Quaid-e-Azam. Unfortunately after the death of Quaid-e-Azam the situation for Christians and Other Religious communities changed in Pakistan.
